Day 4!
Kudos to all of you still working the detox plan! You are gaining health...even if it doesn't feel like it!
Remember there is either the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. I chose the former!
Waking, my head feels clearer today, my legs better than yesterday, but still sore. I feel a bit unmotivated to move...but that's not what today's schedule allows so time to cowgirl up!
Increase the water and keep the small meals coming!
Today is more restrictive and yet less restrictive until tomorrow...Veggies are my friends!
Realistically they are and they will help move the detox along, fiber and B-vitamin filled they help to nourish both the colon and the liver.
So, all in all I am wishing I could have a coffee because I could use the stimulant to get my backside moving...but I would hate to ruin what I've gained!
Breakfast:
Herbal tea
Dynamic greens + fibroplex
followed by 2 scoops UltraInflamX with 1 cup blueberries
I could have had fruits or rice...but had to get kids off to school, daycare and work by 7:30 am.
All other snacks and meals are prepped for the day!
Supper tonight will be a large salad with all kinds of veggies and some beans...and maybe a side of rice. (I am beginning to find that my eyes are larger than my stomach in the recent day and a half.)
Dressing is an olive oil & vinegar with herbs.
Gwyn will add a recipe for roasted cauliflower. Remember the next 3 days we can steam, eat raw, roast our cruciferous veggies. A combination will help you get through with palate still intact for vegetables past detox.
Please DO NOT microwave your vegetables!! This kills the enzymes you need from them!
If you are going to exercise on the detox, do so gently. This is not the time to start training for a marathon. Yoga, pilates, walking or a gentle run or light weights are fine, just be sure to hydrate and stretch when finished.
